I am a wife, mom, piano teacher, and blogger for Alaska Christian Women’s Ministry.
When I am not teaching piano, I live the crazy life of a wife and mom of three. I love it when life is neat and organized, but I find that rarely happens. I am learning to love the chaos.
Even though I grew up in church, life made me dissatisfied with empty religious traditions and trite answers. I discovered that Jesus alone is the way to real life and true contentment. Ever stumbling and learning myself, I invite you to experience God’s love and forgiveness for themselves.
In 2014, my husband had surgery to remove a brain tumor. Our whole life turned upside down. We had to redefine our marriage, our roles, and our faith…all while dealing with the fallout of a traumatic brain injury.
God did not immediately remove our pain. He allowed us to walk through it, battered and bruised, but intact. While we would not choose that path, God redeemed it for our good. Through the pain, He revealed His peace, His love, and His direction.
